A Quality Management System(QMS) is a phrase used to describe a system in charge of recording all activities, roles, and instructions for carrying out quality goals and policies. A QMS enables businesses to plan and coordinate their operations to satisfy regulatory and customer requirements while continuously increasing their efficiency and effectiveness.

The international standard ISO 9001:2015 outlines all the conditions necessary to put in place a quality management system. In fact, despite the fact that the ISO 9001 family is merely a document that explains the QMS, most people still use the latter as a synonym.

But you might be wondering why implementing a QMS is so crucial. In reality, quality management systems have several uses, such as:

  1. Engaging employees
  2. Lowering expenses
  3. Minimizing materials waste
  4. Establishing the company's direction.
  5. The process of locating and organizing training programs.
  6. Process improvement
