Managed by personnel with more than 20 years of experience in the certification business, Banyan Certification is well versed with customer’s requirements, capable of managing and maintaining a team of professional and independent auditors, as well as complying with Accreditation Bodies’ strict requirements. It is the policy of 'BANYAN CERTIFICATION PTE LTD' to operate its business in accordance with the guiding principles of impartiality, competence, responsibility, openness, confidentiality, and responsiveness. BANYAN CERTIFICATION PTE LTD (BYC) views the safeguarding of impartiality as paramount in maintaining confidence in BYC certification activities. BYC senior management has established and promoted an impartiality policy with associated objectives on which BANYAN CERTIFICATION PTE LTD service will be based. BYC’s management is committed to managing conflict of interest, in case there is any, and brings objectivity to the certification process.
A relationship that threatens BYC's impartiality can be based upon ownership, governance, personnel, shared resources, finances, contracts, marketing and payment of a sales commission or other inducement for the referral of new clients, etc. BYC's top management is committed to impartiality in its management system audit services. Director of BYC, staff, and sub-contractors are required to complete and sign Impartiality & Confidentiality Agreement.
