ISO 45001:2018 is the world's international standard for occupational health and safety management system to help businesses provide a healthy and safe working environment for their employees and everyone else who visits the workplace.

The main goal of ISO 45001 reduces workplace accidents and illnesses in extreme situations to minimize the risk, provide a safe and healthy workplace, and improve hazard identification and risk assessments.

ISO 45001 was designed to take another existing occupational health and safety standard, such as OHSAS 18001.
